Yandere headphones have died.

We are here today to mourn for the departing of my crappy pair of headphones I've always used as a backup. Okay, they're not completely dead, it figures that they're so durable that they'll stay usable until the very end. Right now it plays music at a really low volume, unless you twist it around inside the socket a little to find just the right spot. With the passing of my old headphones near, am I free from the curse!? I just got a new pair yesterday, so we'll see.

Hopefully my new pair lasts me long. I'm tired of my ears literally bleeding from having those uncomfortable buds placed in them.

Yeah, kind of a filler post because I want to take it easy today. I have 7 pages to write tomorrow on useless crap and I already feel too lazy to get started on it. It's worth 10% of the grade though, and I completely forgot about it until now. It's supposed to be some reading journal that we write down after reading the stuff she assigns us. I know, that's kiddie stuff, I don't know why we're assigned something like this when we already do essays based off our readings. It doesn't help that I never read anything she's assigned in class because they were all stories that I've read in high school. I really hate having to take general course requirements that are there to just waste your time and money.

Also, freaking weekend with new Marvel vs Capcom news is taking forever to come. It's both a good and bad thing. Good because, well, I'd like some more news. If Megaman isn't announced this month, in his anniversary, chances are he's not in the game and will be saved for DLC (ugh). Bad news because it means that I'm getting closer to the due date of another essay.

I'll try to think of something cool to talk about tomorrow, if I'm bot too busy writing.

Both of my 'phones still work. Maybe I don't use them as you do, but I find it a little odd that they die so often. Are you sure you're not abusing them?

The horror.

Mine always fail at the jack plug because I leave them plugged into the PC and trip over the cable.

I'm positive. I abuse my crappy backup pair and they've lasted years. I don't even wrap my nice headphones around my mMP3 players like I see most people do.

Well hopefully your new pair last longer. I'm still puzzled by your broken headphone curse.

Surprisingly I'll be ok with the fact that Megaman won't be in MvC 3. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Megaman fan but I'll live. I'm very excited that Zero is going to be in the game. One of my childhood dreams was to play as Zero in MvC 3 as sad as it might sound.

I always end up losing headphones too, but my backups have lasted me a few years which is pretty sweet considering that they're falling to pieces and held together with strategically placed elastic bands.

That's like 90% of my headphones after a few weeks use :(

Good luck on your essay though :D It shouldn't be too difficult to complete. It may be kiddie, but hey, its easier and just do what the professor says. (S)He's the one who ends up grading it at the end and reflects upon your records.

I picked up a pair of $1 earphones on ebay. I didn't expect much for a dollar, but they aren't bad. The head rest is a bit too high, and even thought the earmuffs are made of good material, they are too big and the weight of them causes the whole headset to pull down, and since the headrest isn't low enough to comfortably hold it up, it pulls on your ears. I had to cut up a piece of foam to slide in the empty space between the headrest and the top of my head. Now they hold up, but they still get kinda uncomfortable after a while. Sound quality is good though, and the mic works great.

;__; This is a funeral post. I hope this is the end of your cursed yandere headphones.

Good luck on the essay. As James said, you should be able to get it done easily, and then you can nab that 10% grade!

i used to think all headphones/earbuds were created equal until i got a $75 pair... the sound quality is so much better than crappy earbuds... definitely worth it for an audiophile
