I have to say, this figure found its way to me really quick. It was shipped last week, so I wasn't expecting it for some time, but they really managed to make it come here fast, one way or another. This is actually my 2nd Luka Nendoroid from GoodSmile. Why did I get 2? I wanted 2 Takolukas and I like the faces she comes with, so I'll have extra to swap with my other Nendoroids. Not to mention, Luka is just my favorite Vocaloid in terms of design.
You guys already know that I use my phone's camera to take images, so I'm not going to be doing a review on this. I'd love to, but my camera just doesn't do my figures any justice. If I ever plan on doing reviews, then I'd need a better camera, and maybe I'll make one of those light boxes that Hip-Hop Hikikomori so kindly gave instructions to making.
In other news, I'm seriously debating on if I should get a Takoluka plushie. I mean, just look at them!

| Fucking magnets, how do they work?! The only thing holding me back is the fact that I don't have any metal poles in the middle of my room like some sort of stripper. In fact, there's not really anything metal in my room for me to stick her on. I mean, of course I can have her just, not sticking on anything, but I think it'd be really cute to actually have her hanging off something. On top of that, I dunno what face I like better! I might just get the neutral one, but I like the drooly one as well! I dunno, maybe I'm being a bit too picky. It's not like they're expensive either. I know I'm ganna regret it if I don't take this chance to buy one, and I know that when I do finally decide to place the order, it'll be too late. Oh well. |

Holy shit, my heart. The rails of my desk are metal, so I could have them all constantly hanging from there. HOW IS THAT ONE TAKOLUKA DROOLING UPSIDE DOWN?
Taking pictures of your figures with a phone camera is fine, just post them in a small size; that first picture looks absolutely fine in the thumbnail. I wouldn't suggest going through all of the trouble of making a lightbox if all you have is a phone camera.
Yeah, I'd only make a lightbox after I get a good camera.
