Work work work

So I calmed down on Marvel vs Capcom, but didn't realize how much work piled up. Been inactive (again) after coming back because I realized this. It's mostly out of the way though, so I should really be back tomorrow. Now to think of something to post about. Been reading a manga I heard about quite some time ago but never picked up, it's Koko Ni Iru Yo (I Am Here). The main character looks like Saya from Saya no Uta, but with brown hair, which is kinda the only thing I knew about the series before picking it up.Well, that and the fact that it was shoujo romance. But seriously, she looks like Saya. It doesn't help that the manga pages are obviously in black and white. She doesn't have the same eyes as Saya in the manga though, for the most part.

It's about a girl that's so unnoticed that she's literally invisible to others sometimes. But she's used to it and blogs every day, and have 2 frequent visitors that comment on her posts and such. I'd go more into detail, but I might want to save that for an actual review post than sticking it into a crappy filler post like this.

Anyway, I'm actually a bit disappointed in myself because I picked English chapters of it to read even though I'm trying my best to stay away from that. I guess I just have so much work right now that I want to use my free time to breeze through chapters and understand a majority of what's said. I still haven't picked up Poncho (introduced by either, which I really do plan on doing sometime this week. I took a glance at the first few pages that were in color, but didn't get past page 6 or so since it was about 4 in the morning and I realized I didn't do my daily SRS reps at the time.

So, normal blog post tomorrow unless I'm forgetting something. I already missed 1 test and 1 quiz from my online course, that that's more from the fact that I have a crappy memory and the professor put them at incontinent times. Last semester my professor gave us a week to complete assignments, but this time my online course has a professor that just assigns stuff whenever and usually gives a 1-3 day window to complete it. Don't really mind much though, if I fail the course then I just fail it, bot like I won't already be in debt that I won't be able to pay of by the time I get out of classes. Why did I decide to enroll in College again? I probably would have done better just looking for a language center and take Japanese there. It'd give me more time to focus on what I really want to learn anyway, and get the other crap I'm not interested in out of the way (and save money). Kinda too late to back out now. Or maybe not? I dunno, don't like thinking about the future too much. Oh well, whatever happens will happen.

Being lazy is great, you know your body loves it! As for continuing college, those are your decisions to make so do whatever you feel you should do.

Yeah college is really just a means to an end IMO. If you feel you can get what you need without it id go for it. I need to take Japanese again now that I think about it..

That sounds like a pretty interesting premise for a manga. I might try and give it a read.

>whatever happens will happen

Probably the best attitude for keeping stress down and taking it easy.

Something I have been asking myself a lot recently.

>I probably would have done better just looking for a language center and take Japanese there.

If you are looking for translation work with Japanese, having a 4 year degree in something would be a good idea. I've been browsing around for requirements and it seems a number of places require a 4-year in addition to experience.

Good to hear that you're interested.

Shoujo manga is pretty rad, so it's all cool.

I might pick up that series just because of Saya. The blogging part seems a bit interesting too. I used to read shoujo manga when I still read a lot of manga. Cardcaptor Sakura was actually one of the first manga series I read.

I used to forget about assignments from online courses when I was in high school too.

Don't worry about lack of updates. When you feel more motivated you'll post more.
