Curse of the yandere headphones

Alright, I give up. I guess I was meant to stay with my ear bleeding stock headphones that came with my cellphone. My old headphones died, as I said in a previous post. I got a new pair of headphones to replace them (again) and my new pair was okay. I mean, the quality wasn't as good, but it was only $20, so whatever. But, of course, my luck is pretty bad. I'm not sure how they got lost, but they're gone after only 2 weeks of having them. Of course, the possibility exists that my horrible memory is just playing tricks on me again, and it's right under my nose stored in a place I thought I would remember, but I find that pretty unlikely at this point.

I'm done blowing so much cash on headphones. To be fair, they didn't die this time, and it is my fault for not securing them, I guess. I thought they were pretty secure, but the fact that they're not in my pocket pretty much tells me otherwise. Guess I'd better get used to scabs in my ear and crap sound quality, because that's what I'm going to have to put up with for the next few months.

Japanese strength comes in the form of headphones. I Ken-Sama suggest you obtain a nice noise canceling sony pair. It comes from Nippon and you know it is of burning quality. I hope you honor my post.

Wow, your luck with headphones really is bad.
I hope you find the lost pair but it really baffles me how this could have happened.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost them. It happens to the best of us.

No! Don't settle for subpar quality! Just be ultra-careful with a new pair and watch it like a hawk so you don't misplace it..

This post reminded me that I haven't seen my earphones for a while now. God. Now I won't be able to sleep well till I find them.

Renamed the post for accuracy. I swear, it has to be a curse set out to make sure I'm stuck with these horrible headphones.

Can you not use full size headphones? Those are typically more durable than earbuds.

Or use clip-on headphones, they're also more durable but carry none of the bulk.

Something like that might do you some good.

Yeah, but those leak out too much sound. I don't like other people hearing my super kawaii music.

Losing stuff sucks. During my time using a bus to commute long distances, I've accidentally left behind two bike helmets, sunglasses, my PSP memory stick, and a phone. Thankfully I managed to recover my phone when the bus looped back and I'm much better about keeping track of my stuff now.
If you use your headphones at home a lot of the time, it may be worth it to grab a second pair to use just at home. I got myself some nice cans that are comfy and have already lasted me a couple of years because of how solid they are and the fact that they stay in one place. They're closed, so I only have to worry about people hearing if they're sitting right next to me.
